Oil and Gas Privatization in Iran, one of the books authored by Professor Reza Molavi, now detained without access to communication in Iran

According to HRNA (Human Rights Activists News Agency), no one has any information about the fate of Professor Reza Molavi, the Professor of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Durham. He was arrested at the Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran, Iran in April 2010, while returning from Tehran to the UK.  He was not allowed to meet or call his family for several months.

Professor Molavi, the author of the book Oil and Gas Privatisation in Iran, is 60 years old and suffers several physical illnesses in prison. There are no official statements available about his accusations.
